Jessica Stigsson

I've been drawing all my life, and wanted to be an artist, but chose, instead, to pursue interpreting. I'm still training towards my goal, but I've started to gain some confidance in myself as an artist again.

Ideally, I'd love to illustrate for a children's book in English, or one of the other languages I speak (or don't). Different cultures fascinate me, and I have a craving to learn more about them.

In the work field:

• People person-- I am upbeat and positive, ready to admit when I’m wrong, or learn a more efficient way to get something done. I can deal with difficult personalities.

• Desire to learn-- I am eager to gain knowledge that can elevate my career.

• Desire to uphold and improve-- When taught how a task should be completed, I try to implement and improve that standard every time I complete it afterward.

• Discipline and patience-- I’ve worked hard for the education and personal achievements in my life.

I'm a joyful person, and try to bring positivity into every area of my life, including my work environment. I believe that gossip is not only unkind, but unprofessional. I strive to treat every co-worker with respect, and speak only good about them.
